Hi - I tried uploading a screenshot, but the Insert Image button is giving an "access denied" error to the D:\intepub\mysf\members\Uploads... tree.

I find that when I am trying to process Incomplete Distributions, I get a "Transaction Adjustment" message that contradicts what MySF is showing me on the screen.

For instance, I have a Total to Alllocate of $491.68 (composed of four, quarterly transactions).   MySF shows that I have allocated $491.68 (Total Distrbution Received) and the Balance Amount Under/Over says $0.00, yet when I click Save, I get a dialog saying

This transaction contains a total amount which is $0.01 more than what was posted to the Asset Account. This amount will be posted to Dividends Receivable ...

and asking if I want to continue.  Choosing No gives me an opportunity, but no method, to resolve the issue.  Is this expected?

Regards,
TonyG

Hello Tony,

It sounds like it could be a rounding issue where the screen shows you how much to allocate but is a rounded off number to two decimal places. Entering the rounded off number will not allow you to process the distribution because it is not the same as the actual total to allocate.

I have done some testing and can't seem to replicate the problem so would it be possible for you to send us a copy of your fund file via email to info@mysf.com.au

Your fund file is usually found under C:\"fund name"\ and is the file with a gold icon and the extension of .mysf

Regards,

MySF
