The latest update to MySF Manager, update 7.0.3, is now available.
Changes
Calculation of segregated income from increase in market value of assets at year end
This release includes a change to how the software calculates the segregated income due to unrealised gains stemming from assets purchased in the current financial year. Previous versions of the software included a small error which could cause the segregated income amount to be overstated, causing a larger allocation of profit to the segregation member. Segregated income from sources other than unrealised gains is not affected.
Accounts 4627 and 4628
We have seen a number of recently created funds where accounts 4627 and 4628 had their tax settings reversed. This update contains a routine to check for this setting and adjust them back to normal.
How to update
1.) Before updating please ensure that you create a backup of your fund through Housekeeping > Create Backup.
2.) Please go to File -> Check for Online Updates in your copy of MySF Manager to obtain the latest update.
