Hi,

Does this happen for all reports that you try to generate?

When the error message you mentioned appears the software will generate a log of the problem. This is normally found at C:\MySFError.log. This file can be opened in NotePad. Would you be able to post the contents of the file as a response?

Reporting errors are normally caused by faulty installations of Crystal Reports, which is what we use to generate the reports within MySF Manager. If this turns out to be the cause this time then we will post details of how to reinstall Crystal Reports.

Regards,

MySF

Hi,

If it happens on all reports then it is very likely to be a problem with Crystal Reports.

If you have a 32 bit version of Vista or XP then please follow these steps:

1- Download the Crystal Reports installer from:
http://www.mysf.com.au/downloads/CRRedist2005_x86.msi
Save the file to your computer

2- Double click on the file downloaded in Step 1 above to reinstall Crystal Reports

3- Start up MySF Manager and try to run a report. You should find that it works ok.

If you have a 64 bit version then you will need a different installer. Please let us know if this is the case.

You can check your version of the operating system via Control Panel > System.

Regards,

MySF
