There are two types of these currently available in MySF Manager.
Regular transactions (Cash and Journal Processing > Regular Transaction Manager) are designed to handle regularly recurring transactions such as bank fee payments or rental receipts. These can be scheduled to be posted, with user confirmation, at specified intervals. Regular transactions cannot be edited before processing. If you need to process a transaction with different information then you should cancel the regular transaction and process another manually.
Predefined transactions (Cash and Journal Processing > Predefined Transaction Manager) are designed to enable users to enter some information about a transaction which occurs at either irregular intervals or with varying information. These transactions can be called up at any time, completed / modified and then processed. The predefined transaction stays on record so that it can be recalled again whenever it is needed.

MySF

| It would be great if the regular transaction supported regular bank interest which usually do not have a fixed value. This must be a very common activity that many administrators need to execute. Predefined transactions go some way but not far enough for this corner case.

Hello,
A regular transaction is one designed to handle regularly recurring transactions such as bank fee payments or rental receipts who's information does not change. Because bank interest amounts differ, a regular transaction would not be suited.
You should create a predefined transaction so every time you receive bank interest, all you need to do is process the predefined transaction with the new interest amount and the date you received the interest. All other details on the screen are predefined.
I am not sure what kind of specific features you are looking for so could you please provide some additional information.
Regards,
MySF
