The latest update to MySF Manager, update 5.0.0, is now available.
IMPORTANT! BEFORE INSTALLING UPDATE please ensure that you create a backup of your fund through Housekeeping > Create Backup.
This update includes major additional functionality to deliver better control of a greater range of investments.
The update also fixes some bugs that have been identified and includes minor changes to improve usability. The list of changes is shown below.
Additional Functionality
Support for international investments
* data now supplied not just from the ASX, but also an additional 49 exchanges.
* technical analysis feature now receives data from 50 exchanges
Support for foreign currencies
* foreign exchange calculator built into the software (up to 6 months historical data)
* foreign exchange data feed used automatically to convert all data to AUD when revaluing international investments (up to 6 months historical data)
* FX calculator accessible by pressing Ctrl + F when you have any currency field selected, or by clicking on the 'Foreign Exchange Calculator' link shown at the bottom of several screens
Usability improvements
* user-name and password screen now accepts enter key press instead of requiring you to click on OK
* tab orders revised on several screens
Bugs fixed
*Asset reports potential grouping and subtotal calculation issues fixed by making it more tolerant of slight differences in asset code entry
*Some error messages revised to be more informative and assist self-help
*Side panel now displays an informative message rather than default Internet Explorer error when software cannot access Internet
*Other display level bugs

Future updates
Future improvements planned for MySF Manager include items that help users gain even better control of their investments and be more informed about their performance. Functions which will be added in future updates include:
- time weighted return calculations, an industry standard
- dollar weighted (IRR) return calculations.
- additional benchmarking of subsets of assets based on asset class, allocation category, advisor, fund manager
How to update
1.) Before updating please ensure that you create a backup of your fund through Housekeeping > Create Backup.
2.) Please go to File -> Check for Online Updates in your copy of MySF Manager to obtain the latest update.
