When you issue each new update, it would be good if you gave an outline on what it updated - ie what bugs were fixed, what new features included, etc. It would certainly help me if I am busy to decide whether to upgrade immediately (if it addresses a bug that, well, bugs me) or wait till I have more time if it is just a couple of features that don't particularly interest/affect me).

For example, I downloaded and applied this update to find that it still did not address the Bank reconcilliation bug (separate post) which you had said would be addressed by this (second) update - but I now have no idea on what the update actually does do.

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback, we will post more details about future updates.

The bug you refer to will be retested as it appears that it may have been overlooked when preparing the 4.0.1 release. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Regards,

MySF

The update included the following:

- Change to the backup so that files are listed in chronological order, rather than alphabetical order

- Modified the P&L so that tax instalments paid (posted as DR to account 2130) are deducted from the tax figure shown as payable in the report. To see how provision for tax is calculated in your specific fund please tick the 'Show detail' and 'Show Income Tax Calculation' check boxes before running the P&L report.

- Added functionality to the P&L screen to allow manual entry of a percentage of income which will be exempted from tax due to pension mode (normally this would only happen during year end)

- Fixed a small number of display level bugs, mostly to do with the quick add dividend / distributions functionality
