| Hello Would it be possible in the next release for the "Restore Fund" window to list the available backups in descending date/time order instead of the present alphanumeric sort? Also, the ability to add a short description with each backup would be helpful. Regards .... Ron

Yes, we can and will make both of these modifications to the backup and restore process.

Hi,
Regarding the latest software update, please note that we have changed the 'Restore Fund' screen to list the available backups in descending date/time order instead of alphanumeric sort.
We have not added the functionality to add a short description for each backup but we will definitely be adding this to a future release.
Thank you for your suggestions and we encourage you to forward all your suggestions in the future to help us improve MySF Manager.
Kind Regards,
MySF

Hi
Did the ability to add a description to a backup ever make it into a release?
Thanks

Hi,
The memo for backups has not been added to MySF Manager yet. Apologies on the delay of this feature addition. We will try to make sure that it is added as soon as possible.
Version 6.0.3 is slated for release on Monday 02/02/09. This update has now been finalised and will not include the memo feature for backups, but we will add it to the following update.
Regards,
MySF

Hi
Are you making any progress on the "memo" facility when backing up. I am currently doing this via entries to a text file and it is a pain.
Thanks
Bryan

Hi
Has the memo capability on backups been discarded? I believe that it would be a useful bit of functionality.
Thanks

Hello Bryan,
We apologise for the very long delay in getting this functionality added to MySF Manager. It was completely overlooked but we have now started adding it into the software and it should be ready for the next software update.
At this stage there is no ETA for the next software update but when it is released you will be notified via the news side panel on the main menu of MySF Manager.
All the best.
MySF
