When adding an asset such as a share, MySF uses the default bank account to process the Cash side of the journal.

This can be a problem is you have established a second bank account (say with ETrade) just for the purpose of trading shares.

The work around is to go to System Setup>Bank Accounts and click on the Second Bank account that you wish to use for the cash side of the transaction. Once this is highlighted Check the box which is labeled "Is this the Funds Primary Bank Account" The second account will become the primary bank account until it is changed back to the other account.

All new asset entries will use the Second Bank Account for the transactions entered.

In Version 1.4.1 we will allow the selection of the Bank account from the Asset Add screen for both Financial and Physical Assets
