The out of balance error looks to me to have come from the next years accounts on both roll overs I processed, 2006 the error is from 2007 and 2007 the error is from 2008.

I opened my back up copy and rolled over the year again after looking carefully through all entries for that year and the same thing happened again. The out of balance error again was from the next years accounts.

Hi,

From your description it seems that the transactions being shown as out of balance are actually from a future financial year to the one that you are rolling into, is that correct?

Have you received any other similar alerts when processing these transactions in the first place?

Year rollover "out of balance" error

Hi.

I have entered all my transactions from 1/7/2005 up to 29/2/2008 then reconciled with bank accounts.When i rolled over to year 2006 an error " out of balance " appeared This error seem to have come from an entry entered 22/8/2007, To correct balance I use the decrease button then continued with rollover.

I next rolled over to year 2007 and an out of balance error appeared again this time it seem to have come from an entry entered 31/8/2007.

Can you tell me what's happening and how to correct this?:unsure:
