Hi,

This is a quick email to let you know that the update is now available.

The tax allocation mechanism is shown on the member allocation page of the year end rollover, and you can override the figures if you wish.

Hi,

We are in the process of modifying this aspect of MySF Manager and will have an update available soon. Our intention is to release this update late tomorrow (Friday Dec 18th) pending favourable test results.

The update will provide a different method of allocating tax liability among members as well as a simple override so you can use your own figures if you disagree.

Dear MYSF,
Can you please let me know how you're going with a fix for the tax split issue. I need to get my accounts for 08/09 down to the auditor in Sydney (I'm in Brisbane) asap.

PS before you ask, yes i have changed the members allocation table at the actuarial tab to reflect 90%.

I took a wild guess and adjusted the allocation manually on the report. However when I got to the members position statement report, it still has 90% of the tax allocated to my husband instead of all to me. How do I correct the allocation in all reports please.

Thanks for the latest update which says it addresses this problem. I just started the year end rollover for 08/09 but when i viewed the profit and loss allocations it appears to have allocated 90% (which reflects the share of fund) of the tax to my husband who is in an allocated pension tax free environment. Should i manually change the allocation to the full amount of tax to my account and vary the amounts of profit to be allocated accordingly?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have been able to replicate the same issue here and are working on a fix, which will include a change to the year end process.

My end of year balance sheet has more $$$ in the member's equity than i have in the account balance. The difference appears to be that ($1707) appears under "Profit and Loss" and this amount is equal to the amount I depreciated the company's computer this year. If this amount either didn't appear here or if the member's accounts was reduced by this amount it would all balance. What have i done wrong? Kat
