Hi all,

My accountant / auditor has just completed my 2007 Tax return and has provided a comprehensive report out of BGL for my review. To assist in ensuring it is correct without having to carry out a great deal of summation it would assist if the above report was totalled for Start Value, End Value and Difference and not just the Journal entry showing the difference. It makes it easier to track down any incorrect entries!

Hi,

You can print off a report that details every holding together with its start and end values, subtotalled by investment, asset class and for the fund overall. It also shows the change as a dollar amount and as a percentage for everything. The report is called 'Change in market value' and you can generate it from the Reporting > Report Tool screen. Note that this report (and all other asset reports) can be generated for a past year even if that year has been closed off.

The data included in the report depends on the date range that you specify. This means that you can investigate these changes during the year and there is no need to wait until the end of the year to see what the changes are.
